Families and Children Photography tips

How to make your photo shoot more fun and memorable.

It is very important to have family pictures or just pictures of your kids. It's amazing how after a couple months or years we take a look at our professional artsy pictures that more than that are memories that will last forever.

Number 1 rule: Have Fun! It's a photo shoot not a military drill.
Normal day, normal people fun, fun, fun.
Play games with your kids.
Not all kids will cooperate and just sit still, that is absolutely normal!
Let them run, run with them, give them some jelly beans or cookies for good behavior whenever they do whatever you ask them. (cookies is one of the best secrets)

Bring toys for the kids to keep them entertained, did I mention cookies?? Kids seem to love those..

Bring a blanket to lay on the grass, big enough for you and your children.

If you'd like bring an extra outfit for the kids, maybe an extra one for you as well if you will be quick and find a place to change.

Clothing: Something cute, colorful or just plain white will do the trick.
Are you a fashionista? Fashion your kids up!
Funny costumes..Anything goes!

Personally I think the best Images a Photographer / Photo journalist can capture are candids, those moments where you are being yourself, being a parent, a wife, a husband... Doing what you usually do, letting the moment take you and living life step by step.

Last but not least, be a little selfish for a second, let the spotlight shine on you for a bit.

Hope this post helped you clear any possible questions you had and will make your photo shoot an unforgettable experience.

Fun Engagement Shoot

I recently put a couple ideas together that will make your photo shoot much more fun.
These are optional for you, not necessary but if applied they would look great

If you consider going with any of these ideas, 1 or 2 should be more than enough.
Let me know if you have any questions.

*Plastic cup phone -

*bunch of 5 colorful ballons -

*If you guys like to read, you can bring a couple small funny or colorful books you may have
*couple of sparklers -

*bring your sunglasses

*f you guys don’t have a save the date picture perhaps you can print or use a black marker to write in a couple thick hard paper “save the date” so each of you can hold a piece of paper showing the date...

TIPS FOR YOUR DOGGIE PHOTO SHOOT

TIPS FOR YOUR DOGGIE PHOTO SHOOT

Hi and Congratulations from Ezzy’s Photography.!!

If you are reading this, You are confirmed for the Doggie Photo shoot on August Friday 17th in West 72nd Street Dog Run.

There are a couple of things to consider to make our Photo shoot more easy and fun!
We’ll shoot each Dog for about 10 to 20 mins so we can allow our other four legged friends an equal chance to shine.

  • Groom your doggie ( make sure Fido looks good and smells great )
  • Take your doggie for a walk before the shoot ( fortunately we have a Dog Park just steps away)
  • Props! is your Dog a fashionista,  hipster, rocker.. bring some clothes, glasses, booties, collars, your pearl necklace.. anything that will make your Dog stylish or will show it’s real personality. (we’ll shoot with and without props)
  • Bring your Fun On!!

Last but not least... After thinking very carefully, we decided we wanted to take advantage of this event and give back to the places that are in charge of taking care of strays and dogs with no home. So as an added BONUS we decided If you bring a bag of Dog Food 10 lbs or more http://goo.gl/z79Hu ←(suggested or similar). You’ll get pictures taken with your beloved Doggie. Why not? Might as well get nice portraits with your best friend!
Everything is for a good cause, the unopened bags will be dropped off the “Animal Haven” a place that takes care of animals and finds a home for them.

Hopefully this post will give you some tips and help you make this process easier.
Don’t forget! you can participate in the Photo Shoot too! just bring a bag of food!

Best Regards,

Ezzy’s Photography.

Ode to my Wife!

BEAUTIFUL CRYSTAL!
***

Today is not a different day, not a special day, nobodies birthday or anniversaries...
Today is just a regular day..  just like every other day that sometimes it doesn't make a difference in our lives. The truth is: "Every day should make a difference in our lives" Every day should count because when is too late we like to look back and wish we would have made that day count, live it at it's fullest potential.

That's why Today I want to dedicate this post to the love of my life, my number one fan, my model, my assistant, my everything. My wife Crystal.
I love you so much and I am very happy we get to share our lives with each other. Thank you for being yourself and thank you for being next to me. I love you wife!

I hope I made you smile Today.
